SC - Day 3 - Black Guess slingbacks & Sergio Rossi Katia Trapeze Wedges

These are old faithfuls that sit beneath my desk. I bought them on an impulse in Miami - about 3/4(?) years ago. I dont normally wear sling backs as they never stay on. I dont know if my heel isn't arched enough or what it is but they never grip and always slide down. As you can imagine walking is a nightmare.
I think I just tried these on for a lark and they looked soo sexy I just had to have them. the contrast with cork also does it for me :-) Plus they are peep toes again - couldn't resist
(so my trends are - peep toes, wedges, cork - lolll you will see those repeated a lot in my collection).
Luckily - they fit and manage to stay on without too much effort. I mainly wear them in the office so haven't really tested them for wearing to go out. I wouldn't wear them out though as I have other black shoes (plus I realise I barely wear plain black shoes out - I only have 1 pair that I would consider wearing out - I have another but it's all blinged out so doesnt count ;-)

The white slippers I wore in to work today are liz claibourne flats.. They are actually my mum's but I intend to borrow them a lot so they will more or less become mine. :-D

Was going to do a post friday but was reeling from MJs death and I wore my basic black flats to work - i'll do a post with them at some point. I might just do Mon - Thurs posts on my SC as fridays is usually casual so I mostly wear my flats. Over the weekend - I went out saturday and wore my Sergio Rossi Katia Trapeze wedges

I bought these last year at a sample sale. These exact ones in white and brown. I love how from the back they look like stilletos then you see the wings at the side.

Hope you had a great weekend and have a good week!

SC - Day 2 - D-Havz Wedges & Bev Felds Slippers

As today is day 2 (and 2 is my favourite number), I'll be showing 2 of my babies! I wear flats/slippers (depending on the weather) into work and then change into my heels. I also happen to have 3 pairs of black shoes at work but we'll come to that later ...

Right so I wore these slippers into work today.

I call them my Cinnamon Rose Slippers cos well you can see why. I normally like my slippers more dainty - these have a wide flat bottom but they are comfy and cute. They are like my flip flops especially on holiday.

I'm wearing a black dress today that I lost wore on holiday in Nig about 2 christmases ago so I decided to wear the wedges I wore then as well. Also haven't worn them in a while.

D-Havz is the diffusion range by Terry de Havilland of the yummy artistic wedges that I want! (Available on sale now @ My-Wardrobe from £185!)
They are super high and a little big so I dont wear them often (i always have that slapping sound you get when you wear flipflops, and I'm not crazy about ties that wrap around your ankles anymore) but they are super sexy. You should have seen the way I was strutting today on the street. There is definitely something about women in heels ... :-D

Have a lovely day people!

Check them out here

Going back to Harvey Nichs - totally loving this cuff - it's £42

Shoe Collection - Nude Glitter KGs

I've decided that I'm goign to start wearing all my shoes this summer - I'm going to wear a different one each day and see how far I get without having to repeat. Give me a chance to wear all my shoes at least once this year, count how many I have and sort out which ones I really should give away/dispose of - lol.

Today's are these really pretty KG shoes I bought some time last year. I remember going to the event with Bukky and getting what is now my fav lipstick in the goody bag.

Please ignore my big sticky out toe - it's the way i've angled my feet. You can't tell but I'm sitting down here with my foot lying on it's side - this picture has been rotate a couple of times ...

The bad in front is patent whereas the main body is like a beigy sateeny material. You can see it from this angle but the platform that shows through the peephole in front also has the silver glitter on it. Actually ... I decided to take another photo :-D

Hmmm - this photo is indicating that perhaps my babies need cleaning ...

But yeah. My babies - number 1. I still love these - although if i'm honest I have these D&G nudes that have overtaken them in my affections. The silver glitter also means I can't quite wear it with absolutely anything (as you are wont to with nudes) but I was feeling very playful and flirty today. As you can see from the top corner I'm wearing a black and white check skirt (that I got from Bebe ages ago which I still love). Haven't quite progressed to taking photos of my outfits yet (especially as I mostly dont make an effort except when I'm going out) but from time to time if I'm looking extra cute ... we'll see.

Have a lovely day!

Could this be ...

The most perfect white summer's dress?

Must be cos some idiots took the bidding from $50 till £258!!

I do love it though. It would be my kind of dress as long as it was longer - i dont like to flash my ankles ;-) I'm hoping the model was quite tall.

The perfect silk top?

Yes it is!

And the sexiest lingerie set?

And these have got to be the sexiest shoes on the planet right now

Flats - Summer 09

My feet tend to swell in the heat so i always need to wear open toed flats during the day in summer. I have the feelign I already did a post on some flats I wanted but i can't seem to find them so I'll do another one.

I came across these on fashion confidential
1. YSL Flats

Now this is the kind of slipper i've been looking for - the opennesses just make your feet look soo elegant! Not crazy about the blue heart though. Also comes in pink.

2. Matt Bernson Black/ Gold Leather Flash

I think these are soo hot! Like Yum!

Also like these Zanotti Ankle Cuff Sandals
Speaking of Zanotti, love these Rock metallic sandals !

At £332 - totally crazy price though! And that's even with 40% off. Now to find the high stree versions ..... :-D

Dream Items

I haven't updated in a while - possibly because I haven't seen anything new that I really like and also because I realise that I have to find about £2000 to pay for all my holidays this year. Mmmhhhh - that's it! I covet loads and loads of money! lol.

I thus decided to put up some of my dream items - the classic ones I've loved forever and wanted for ages and will get at some point (before I'm 30) if I ever get my act together and spending habits in check.

1. A Pair of Loubous - lol.

I saw these turqouise silk and antique lace ones and my fell in love. There were only 35 ever made - specially for this group and they are all gone but I still think they are utterly beautiful.

You should checkout the website - they often have very pretty collectibles (if you ever have a few thousand pounds spare and need to find that perfect gift for the person who has everything :-)

2. Something Chanel

I love all things Chanel and from the time I could distinguish between Ungaro and Oscar de la Renta (2 old school faves), I decided that on my 30th birthday I would be dressed in head to toe Chanel. Lol. Or at the very least something chanel - hahahahahaha. 30 is coming up soon - my wasted potential, stupid recession and irreprsesible spending habits mean I probably cannot afford to go head to toe but Chanel will be rocked! (I even decided that should I die young, I would want all my assets sold and distributed to my friends on the proviso that they wear something chanel to my funeral) - lolll.

I was always more interested in acquiring the clothes (I actually figured on my 30th - I'd wear a chanel suit during the day and then change to a fabulous couture gown afterwards - big dreams I tell you! Soo much so I have a diet plan for my ideal weight at that time - lol. Must fit into a chanel suit!).

I can soo see myself rocking a suit like this

Or these from the new season

Or something vintage - I love those classic chanel suits. Check out this old photo I found of Barbra Streisand, Marlene Dietrich, Elsa Martinelli, Wearing Chanel Suits at a Chanel Fashion Show

Anyways - as much as I love Chanel - I haven't always been too fond of their bags. I'm really not crazy about the leather chain handle. There's just something about the leather threading between the chains that bugs me. Also for the longest time - I wasn't a big fan of quilted bags. They reminded me too much of duvets and those michelin type duffel coats that were all the rage at some point. Now however, I find myself finding them very charming. Lol - maybe it's age but they have become quite pleasing to the eye. (In small doses). I blame Marc Jacobs and burberry. Imagine my immense covetousoness when Onada rocked up in a chanel bag that I ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE OR I WILL DIE!!! Lol - soo can't wait to raid her closet ;-)

So the bag I wanted is the Classic Shopper - black or nude.

I can live with the small chain handles Although maybe by that time they'd have a version with plain links or this chain .... I love the colour on this bag and the shape.

Alternatively if I couldn't get the shopper above I'd get this. Still has sufficient wow power and I like the hndle although it may not fit too easily/comfortably on the shoulder.

As I was browsing through the chanel website - I came across this and thought someone in the design team for chanel has a sense of humour!

No it's not a paper bag - it's a proper leather (white calfskin bag) - lolll.

3. I've already talked about my Chloe Heloise Obsession.

4. Fine Jewelry - Cocktail Rings

When I was younger I always thought women shouldn't buy themselved perfume or serious jewelry. I always used to get them as gifts. Now I'm older, wiser and evidently not as endearing. I have to buy me own shit - lol.

Everyone that knows me knows I have an insatiable obsession for cocktail rings. My dream engagement ring would be a huge purple diamond rock - lol. The kind that would make even Scarlet O'Hara blush.

The following can all be found on Astley Clarke.

If this was a purple sapphire (do they have those?) it would be almost perfect. (Not sure how I feel about the diamonds down the side)

or these: - (now those are rocks you can see! loll)

Actually - what i really want is humungous solitaire purple diamond (Again they must have those right?) - with a platinum band. :-D (might as well get it all right ;-)

Ok finally this one would be be soo nice - if it was square.

It will serve as a sufficient promise ring ;-)
Right that is all from me - I've done no work today so should at least pretend to even try. have a great weekend all!. xx

Etsy - Headbands

I finally checked out Etsy and the first things I saw - these delicious head bands. I want!!!!

1. Bethany Lorelle - E L L A

2. Beantownbird

3. Feather Brain

Stella McCartney on Outnet

They have some new stuff but damn it goes fast!

I liked this necklace
and this Body suit - very sexy!

Crazy shoes

I was looking through farfetch and came across these crazy ass shoes. A lot of people on my regular blogs and sites had also commented on them. I personally dont see how anyone can actually walk in them or wear them even beyond posing for a photo shoot.

Celine - Graffiti print cut-out shoes

First of all they are 16cm in height (heel) and the platform itself is about 5 cm. To then round it off nicely, the middle bit is freaking cut out! I mean how the f*ck are you meant to balance? lol

The shoes I do think are awesome and would love are the Pedro Garcia Feather shoes
I just think they are soo pretty! Love the feathers and the pearl pin in front.

I saw some Zara shoes today which I have to get. Cant find photos of them online but will take some on my black berry and post them up.

BCBG Dresses

Ok I've been busy busy with sleeping sickness all weekend. I literally stayed in bed the entire time! I've started this diet which left me feelign very lethargic but to celebrate my new weight, I;m getting these dresses. Now - they are still size 12s but they should fit even better then and I can always take them in ;-)

1 Silver silk printed dress - looks normal from the front then turn around and pow! Love this! Will seriously hurt someone if I don't get it!

2. Runway Orchid Woven Pleated Dress - now this looks interesting - sort of plain from the front apart from the folds and twists then you see the back. I dont even know if this will suit me or if my boobs will be supported but I sooo love this dress! I have to have it!

Oasis Dresses

Oasis is one of my favourite UK stores - it's suprising it's taken me soo long to write a post about them. Half my clothes if not more come from there. Most days I am usually wearing something I got from there (today it's my skirt - which i got about 5 years ago and I still wear)

This is the first time in a while that I haven't gone mad in their sales. Most of the good stuff usually goes into the sale so I always wait till then. Lately though they've changed their strategy, they do limited amounts of the really nice designs and they go like that! So other than a suit (i get all my work suits from here) I bought in their mid season sale a few months ago, I haven't shopped here in a while. I was browsing though and came across a few dresses I really like.

The photos are really small so you have to click on them to go to the relevant pages.

1. White Rose Maxi Dress

2. Smudge Flower Print Dress
3. Tropical Flower Print Dress - I love the design and the back.

4. Stripe Peplum Bandeau Dress - have I said how much I love stripes? The floral print of this dress is on sale - soo not interested! lol

5. Frill Peplum Dress - this will either look fabulous on me or awful.

6. Pleat Back Detail Dress

7. Ruffle Sculpture Dress

8. Body Con 2 in 1 dress - I know I can't do Body con but I like the way this looks - the top half is pretty.

9. LA Snow Wash Bandeau Dress - i dont know what it is but there's something I like about this dress.
